The Ayam Cemani is a rare breed of chicken from Indonesia. They have a dominant gene that causes hyperpigmentation, making the chicken mostly black, including feathers, beak, and internal organs.
We have been breeding Ayam Cemani for years now and are very strict about the birds that make up our breeding group, only keeping the very best birds.
Care instructions
I continue to check fertility and it has always been over 90%, I also regularly hatch them and sell chicks locally. However I am unable to guarantee due to factors out of my control once the eggs leave me (postal service, your storage and incubation methods etc)
It is recommended to rest the eggs pointy end down for 24hours once you receive them prior to incubating, this ensures the air sac is stable.
